These
Swallows are welcome visitors to our farm buildings and return each
year, on their annual migration from Africa to the place of their birth,
to breed future generations.

The most pleasant distraction in farming is the huge variety of wildlife, landscapes and scenery which presents itself throughout the working day and night. | |

The
uncontrollable elements of nature can bring about tremendous hardship
in farming and the Cumbrian floods of 2015-2016 were an example of this.
We were delighted to be able to support these farmers by contributing
straw to Forage

We
are members of the Green Pea Company, which is Europe's largest pea
vining co-operative producing exclusively for Birds Eye. R.M. Davey
assisted with the running of one of the vining groups in the
1970s.
