Home
R.M. & E.F. Davey are arable farmers with a farming heritage in Lincolnshire stretching back to the early 1800's when Thomas Davey farmed at North Killingholme.

His grandson James Davey moved to a nearby farm at Habrough and then to Thornton Curtis in 1894 where we still farm.

The operation extends to some 450 hectares; from sea level on marine clay at Goxhill on the banks of the River Humber, to 460 feet above sea level on flinty calcareous soils on the Lincolnshire Wolds at Burgh on Bain.

We grow vining peas for Birds Eye; produce seeds for Limagrain & Germinal as well as wheat, barley & oilseeds for Openfield & Cefetra.

Our farming practices are based around improving soil health by using conservation based systems to build soil fertility.
